POPP, which established as a trading business in Hamburg in 1919, has been a member of the SPÄH corporate group since 1972 and has around 100 employees today.
Its core competence lies in the production of sealing materials and stamped parts from all non-metallic materials as well as in the production of precision parts with state-of-the-art technology.
As a prompt and reliable supplier for ready-to-install flat sealing materials, POPP was voted supplier of the year in 2005 by the members of the Verband Technischer Handel e.V. (VTH, the association of German industrial distributors). The largest share of the company’s turnover is accounted for by technical wholesalers from Northern Germany, Scandinavia, and the Benelux countries.
