DIAM & DDM 2021 − the SPÄH Group was there

As European experts in rubber and plastics processing, SPÄH was present at the German industrial valves trade fair DIAM & DDM, one of the most important industry meetings of the year for the valves and seals sector.

Finally, face-to-face meetings are back! After a long time-out due to the coronavirus pandemic, this renowned trade fair at the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum opened its doors again for two days from October 6 to 7, 2021. Diversity is not just a buzzword for the SPÄH Group. After all, this company produces different products for a variety of industries. Thanks to its various machining processes, large storage capacity and almost endless variety of materials, SPÄH meets all individual requirements promptly and in the highest quality. This is exactly what the trade fair visitors got to experience first-hand at the SPÄH booth. The focus was on the company’s wide range of seals for industrial valves, the materials used, and its innovative 3D printing technology. The guests showed great interest in the various process technologies on display, such as stamping, water-jet and laser cutting, and especially in 3D printing – SPÄH’s latest process technology. 3D printing with Multi Jet Fusion technology is not only suitable for prototypes, but also for series products. Additive manufacturing using the materials PP (polypropylene) and PA12 (polyamide 12) allows almost limitless production possibilities. The visitors were also very impressed by SPÄH’s vast inventory of over 5,000 materials. This advantage allows SPÄH to produce and deliver time-critical orders on time despite the current material and supply bottlenecks.

In a nutshell: a successful trade show for everyone involved – because there’s simply no substitute for face-to-face discussions.
